A Disciplinary Hub for the Global Sports Industry. The Department of Sports Management at Cyprus Health and Social Sciences University (CHSSU) is an interdisciplinary educational center aimed at cultivating qualified leaders who ensure that sports organizations are managed effectively, efficiently, and sustainably. Recognizing that sports is not merely a physical activity but a massive global industry, we provide our students with a robust academic foundation rooted in management, economics, and law. Our goal is to bring a professional breath to the corporate structure of sports by training managers who possess an innovative perspective, strategic thinking skills, and a high sense of ethical responsibility.
Strategic Curriculum and Operational Mastery. Education in our department is delivered through a comprehensive curriculum that forms the building blocks of the sector, including sports marketing, sports economics, organization management, and sports law. Our students reinforce their theoretical knowledge through application-based courses and project work, allowing them to experience the dynamic and competitive nature of the sports sector during their undergraduate years. Through facility management and organizational planning practices conducted under the guidance of our expert academic faculty, they gain the operational skills required to manage any corporate structure, from a local sports club to giant international organizations.

Graduates of the CHSSU Sports Management program are fully equipped professionals ready for leadership positions in the sports industry at both local and international levels. Our alumni can serve as “General Managers” or “Sporting Directors” in national and international sports federations and professional sports clubs, or hold executive positions in public and private sports facilities. They can build prestigious careers as event coordinators in sports marketing and organization agencies, corporate communication specialists for global sports brands, or as athlete agents. Furthermore, sports tourism, municipal sports departments, and fitness centers offer wide employment areas for our graduates, while they also have the chance to make scientific contributions to sports management literature through an academic career.

Application Form: A fully completed online application form.
Secondary School Certificate: A valid High School Diploma or equivalent certificates (e.g., O/A Level, WAEC, NECO, SAT, or national examination results).
Turkish Language Proficiency: For programs taught in Turkish, evidence of Turkish language competence (e.g., TÖMER) is required. Students without a valid certificate must take the CHSSU Turkish Proficiency Exam on campus following their arrival.
Identification: A scanned copy of a valid international passport or birth certificate.
For the 2026-2027 academic year, the annual fee for international students in the Sports Management program is 3,000 USD. This total includes the registration fee and VAT.
