The Department of Nursing at Cyprus Health and Social Sciences University (CHSSU) aims to train qualified healthcare professionals who blend scientific knowledge with a humanitarian approach through a contemporary understanding of nursing focused on individual, family, and community health. Our educational model is built on a holistic perspective that focuses not only on treating diseases but also on preventive healthcare, patient safety, and improving quality of life. We prepare our nursing candidates—who are adaptable to rapidly changing global health systems, possess developed critical thinking skills, and have a high sense of responsibility—to be future leaders who uphold ethical principles and strive for social benefit.
Education in our department begins with a solid foundation in basic medical sciences and deepens through advanced clinical applications. Our students are equipped with a rich curriculum covering critical areas of expertise such as Internal Medicine, Surgical Nursing, Pediatrics, Psychiatry, and Intensive Care. Through laboratory work conducted under the guidance of our academic staff, simulation training, and intensive clinical internship opportunities, students find the chance to apply theoretical knowledge in real healthcare environments and gain professional self-confidence. Furthermore, we support our students in following international literature and fully adapting to digital health applications through the Vocational English and Technology courses included in our curriculum.
Thanks to their strong academic vision and versatile clinical experience, CHSSU Nursing graduates are sought-after professionals in both national and international health organizations. Our alumni can serve as clinical nurses, intensive care nurses, or nurse educators in public and private hospitals, and provide preventive services in health centers and community health units. They are qualified for leadership positions such as quality management and nursing services directorate in healthcare institutions, and can build careers in specialized fields like school health, occupational health, and home care services. Additionally, by continuing their postgraduate studies, they can earn the title of Specialized Nurse and lead scientific research in the academic world.

Bachelor’s Degree: A valid Bachelor’s Diploma or Graduation Certificate.
Academic Transcripts: Official transcripts for each completed academic term or year of your undergraduate studies.
English Language Proficiency: A valid score from TOEFL (minimum 65 IBT) or IELTS (minimum 5.5). Students who do not have these scores will be required to take the CHSSU English Proficiency Exam on campus upon arrival.
Identification: A scanned copy of your valid international passport or birth certificate.
Curriculum Vitae (CV): An up-to-date CV outlining your academic background and any professional experience.
For the 2026-2027 academic year, the annual fee for international students in the Nursing program is 3,400 USD. This total includes the registration fee and VAT.
