The Department of Nutrition and Dietetics at Cyprus Health and Social Sciences University (CHSSU) is a modern educational hub dedicated to protecting, improving, and enhancing the quality of life for individuals and society. Through our holistic approach—examining human health across biological, physiological, and psychosocial dimensions—we train well-equipped dietitians essential to modern healthcare systems. Our educational model is built on a multidisciplinary vision that goes beyond simple energy values, encompassing preventive health services, disease prevention, and treatment processes. Education in our department consists of a rich, application-oriented curriculum built upon a solid foundation of basic sciences. Students put their theoretical knowledge into practice in our laboratories, which are equipped with the latest technology for courses such as Nutrient Chemistry, Microbiology, and Principles of Nutrition. Through innovative modules like Functional Foods, Nutrigenetics, and Sports Nutrition, students explore the molecular and genetic dimensions of nutrition, specializing in personalized nutritional approaches. Furthermore, our extensive internship opportunities—covering clinical nutrition, public health, and mass feeding systems—ensure that students gain hospital and field experience before graduation, raising their professional self-confidence to the highest level.
Graduates of CHSSU Nutrition and Dietetics become sought-after experts in various fields of the health and food industries thanks to their strong academic vision and practical experience. Our alumni can serve as clinical dietitians in public and private hospitals, polyclinics, and dialysis centers, or establish their own private nutrition consultancy centers. They can take on strategic roles such as performance nutrition consultants for sports clubs, executive dietitians in mass feeding systems (like hotels and factories), or product development (R&D) and quality control specialists in the food industry. Additionally, they can develop preventive health policies in public health centers or lead scientific research in the academic world by pursuing postgraduate studies.

Application Form: A fully completed online application form.
Secondary School Certificate: A valid High School Diploma or equivalent certificates (e.g., O/A Level, WAEC, NECO, SAT, or national examination results).
Turkish Language Proficiency: For programs taught in Turkish, evidence of Turkish language competence (e.g., TÖMER) is required. Students without a valid certificate must take the CHSSU Turkish Proficiency Exam on campus following their arrival.
Identification: A scanned copy of a valid international passport or birth certificate.
For the 2026-2027 academic year, the annual fee for international students in the Nutrition and Dietetics Bachelor’s Degree program is 3,400 USD. This total includes the registration fee and VAT.
